What Are The Precautions For The Installation And Use Of Speed Reducers?
The reducer is a power transmission mechanism that uses a gear speed converter to decelerate the number of revolutions of the motor to the required number of revolutions and obtain a larger torque. In the current mechanism used to transmit power and motion, the application range of the reducer is quite wide. It can be seen in almost all kinds of mechanical transmission systems, from ships, automobiles, locomotives, heavy machinery used in construction, processing machinery and automated production equipment used in the machinery industry, to the common ones in daily life Home appliances, clocks and so on. Its applications range from large power transmission work to small load and precise angle transmission. The reducer can be seen in the application, and in industrial applications, the reducer has the function of reducing speed and increasing torque. Therefore, it is widely used in speed and torque conversion equipment.
Precautions for installation of reducer:
1. Before assembling the reducer and mechanical equipment, check whether the rotation direction of the output shaft of the reducer is correct;
2. Before assembling the reducer with the prime mover and equipment, check the deviation size of each shaft diameter, aperture, key and keyway to avoid damage to the bearing due to over-tight assembly, and excessive looseness to affect power transmission;
3. The reducer must be firmly installed on the mechanical equipment to avoid looseness or vibration;
4. When sprocket, gear and other transmission parts are installed with shaft extension, they should be as close to the bearing as possible to reduce the bending stress of shaft extension
5. When the reducer is assembling the motor, grease should be applied to the wall of the inner hole of the worm head and the keyway to avoid over-tightening the assembly and prevent the shaft hole from rusting over time.
6. When using various types of motor direct-coupled reducers, if the weight of the motor is too large, a supporting device should be provided.
Precautions for the use of reducer:
1. Before use, check whether the type structure, center distance specification, transmission ratio, input shaft coupling mode, output shaft structure, input shaft and output shaft direction and rotation direction of the reducer meet the requirements for use. The input speed of the worm should not exceed 1500r/ min;
2. The load should be applied gradually when starting up, and it cannot be started with full load;
3. All reducers are equipped with exhaust plugs. When in use, replace the sealing plugs with the exhaust plugs that come with the machine;
4. The oil level must be checked during use (such as the oil level mirror hole or open the oil plug);
5. Avoid exposing the reducer to the hot sun and harsh environment as much as possible; ensure that there is a good ventilation environment near the motor fan to avoid affecting the heat dissipation effect;
6. If the reducer has been stored for 4-6 months, check whether the oil seal is immersed in lubricating oil. The lip of the oil seal may stick to the shaft and even lose its elasticity. Since proper elasticity is a necessary working condition for the oil seal, Therefore, it is recommended to replace the oil seal; all rubber and vent holes must not be stained with paint;
7.The standard working environment temperature of the reducer is -5℃ to 40℃.
