1. Speed reducer
The speed reducer is an independent closed transmission device between the prime mover and the working machine, used to reduce the speed and increase the torque to meet the needs of work. The reducer has a compact structure, high efficiency, accurate and reliable transmission motion, convenient use and maintenance, and can be mass-produced, so it is widely used.
The working principle of the speed reducer:
The reducer is generally used for low-speed and high-torque transmission equipment. The motor, internal combustion engine, or other high-speed running power is used to achieve the purpose of deceleration by meshing with a large gear on the output shaft through a gear with a small number of teeth on the input shaft of the reducer. The reducer will also have several pairs of gears with the same principle to achieve the desired deceleration effect. The ratio of the number of teeth of the large and small gears is the transmission ratio.

The reducer is mainly composed of transmission parts (gears or worms), shafts, bearings, boxes and accessories. Its basic structure has three parts: (1) gear, shaft and bearing combination; (2) box body; (3) reducer accessories;
2. Transmission
The transmission is a mechanism used to change the rotation speed and torque from the engine. It can change the transmission ratio of the output shaft and the input shaft in a fixed or step-by-step manner. It is also called a gearbox. The transmission consists of a variable speed transmission mechanism and a control mechanism, and some cars also have a power output mechanism. Most of the transmission mechanisms are driven by ordinary gears, and some are driven by planetary gears. If the speed of the transmission output shaft can be continuously changed, it is called a continuously variable transmission, otherwise it is called a stepped transmission.
The working principle of the transmission:
Mechanical gearboxes mainly apply the speed reduction principle of gear transmission. Simply put, there are multiple sets of gear pairs with different transmission ratios in the gearbox, and the shifting behavior of a car when driving is to make different gear pairs in the gearbox work through the operating mechanism.
