What Are The Causes And Solutions Of Reducer Fever?
When the reducer is in normal operation, due to the loss of efficiency, part of the input power will be converted into heat energy, making the internal temperature of the reducer rise, if the temperature is too high, it will cause damage to the internal parts. Therefore, the pre-selection and checking of reducer should meet the requirements of thermal power.
Cause of reducer fever:
1. Possible causes: reducer overload operation, bearing wear, improper assembly of bearings, gears, shafts and other parts, too high or too low voltage, too much start and stop in a short time, poor lubrication, etc.
2. In steel rolling production, excessive load operation may cause frequent failures of multiple reducer, and bearing wear is common.
3.Abnormal heating of the reducer refers to the serious heating of the bearing part or shell part of the reducer, which is beyond the normal temperature range. The most common is the heating of the bearing part.
Solutions:
1. Water-cooled coil is installed at the bottom of the gear box and through the cooling water pipeline, which can effectively increase the thermal conductivity. Under the different flow velocity and flow rate of cooling water, the cooling effect of the coil tube has been tested for many times. The results show that the cooling effect of the coil tube is directly related to the flow rate and flow rate of cooling water. However, due to the limitation of the installation space in the reducer box, the winding length of the disk tube can not be very long, so its cooling effect is limited. The advantages are simple structure, convenient installation, better heat dissipation effect and easy serialization.
2. External lubrication means that a water cooling or air cooling device is set outside the reducer to cool the lubricating oil in the reducer, and the lubricating oil after cooling is returned to the reducer for lubrication. This kind of cooling is mainly used for high power cooling or high ambient temperature. The advantages are good cooling effect and long lubricating oil life. The disadvantage lies in the increase of control points, increasing the probability of accidents.
3.Fan heat dissipation Using fan heat dissipation is simple and easy to operate. However, the disadvantage of fan cooling method is that it is not suitable for some situations. For example, when cooling the gear box in underground coal mine, the use of fan will seriously pollute the surrounding working environment and mechanical equipment, and it uses radiation heat exchange, so the heat loss is also limited.
