The gear reducer needs to be sealed and installed

Gear reducer is usually installed in the place with poor environmental conditions. The service life of compressor lubricating oil will be affected when inhaled with particulate matter, dust and corrosive gas. It is suggested that the installation of air inlet filter should be considered, and the intake filter should be cleaned and replaced regularly.

The sealing of gear reducer should pay attention to the following points:

1. It is not allowed to fill any gasket between the split surfaces of the box, but sealant or water glass can be applied to ensure the sealing;

2. During assembly, before tightening the box bolts, a 0.05mm feeler gauge should be used to check the sealing between the box cover and the box base;

3. The shaft extension seal should be coated with grease. All sealing devices shall be installed in strict accordance with the requirements.
