1.Introduction of Shimpo
Nidec’s SHIMPO reducer uses helical gears. Compared with conventional spur gears, the connection between the teeth is smoother, thereby reducing noise.
Nidec SHIMPO was born in Kyoto in 1952 as Japan’s initial “variable reducer” manufacturer. Since then, after technical training, it has continuously developed new technologies and new products, and established a world leading position in the field of traction technology. I received three awards from the Japan Machinery Association and several invention awards, which fully proved my SHIMPO’s technical level.
Now use the latest production equipment and Japan’s quality management system to establish the world’s most advanced metal processing factory. The newly built factory produces many products (reducer for servo motor, stepless speed changer, measuring instrument and electric pottery machine).

3. Features of Shimpo products
3.1 An ultra-quiet reducer that has never been seen before. Use helical gears to replace the previous spur gears. Compared with previous products, the noise is reduced by 10%;
3.2 High-precision, low-backlash series products with backlash below 0.05o (3 points). This reducer can accurately position and fully demonstrate the performance of high-precision servo motors;
3.3 Smooth rotation with low pulsation. The use of helical gears achieves smooth rotation with low pulsation. It is very suitable for products such as drug filling equipment and medical pumps;
3.4 The advantage of 22mm (when the D segment is 750W) is based on the lightweight design required by the designer. The corner size is 98mm (120mm of the same model of other companies). Miniaturized design. Effectively correspond to the ever-lightweight and miniaturized servo motors;
